Workshops

Our workshop “Connecting through Dialogue” focuses on dialogue, peace, and nonviolent conflict resolution. This interactive session offers a perspective from young people from Kyiv, Tel Aviv, and Berlin and is designed for school classes and youth groups.

The workshop is part of the Young Leaders for Change project, created within the city partnerships between Berlin, Tel Aviv, and Kyiv. In early September 2025, young adults from these three cities came together in Berlin to be trained as peer multipliers. Their mission is to share the importance of dialogue, nonviolent communication, and conflict resolution with other young people and to create meaningful connections.

While we know that political conflicts cannot be solved overnight, we believe in the power of dialogue and listening to foster understanding and enable a shift in perspective. Our goal is to help people feel seen and to encourage peaceful solutions—even on a small scale. What makes this workshop especially valuable is the peer-to-peer approach: young people learning from young people.

The “Connecting through Dialogue” workshop is flexible and accessible. It lasts 1–3 hours, is suitable for groups of 8–30 participants aged 14 and above, and participation is free of charge.

You can choose from three formats:

1. In-person in Berlin – Held right after the joint Young Leaders training in mid-September, delivered by an international team in English.
2. Local workshops – Organized in Kyiv, Tel Aviv, or Berlin, conducted in the local language by regional Young Leaders.
3. Online workshop – Hosted by an international team in English, making it accessible from anywhere.
