Meet our Young Leaders

The Young Leaders for Change are dialogue-makers from Berlin, Kyiv, and Tel Aviv—trained to lead dialogue, resolve conflicts peacefully, and inspire others. Through workshops and community projects, they turn skills into action, building bridges across cultures and creating spaces for understanding and cooperation. Behind every dialogue is a story—and these young people are writing theirs with courage and hope. Coming from Berlin, Kyiv, and Tel Aviv, they’ve chosen to stand for understanding instead of division. Through their workshops and community projects, they bring empathy, listening, and connection to life—one conversation at a time.

I primarily work in the field of Ukrainian youth policy and foreign policy relations, with a specific research interest in conflict dynamics and peacebuilding. My engagement in the project has allowed me to appreciate the importance of relationships between leaders from different countries as a level of peacebuilding within society, and the commitment of participants motivates my long-term involvement in project activities

  • Daria

I am a psychologist, I have a private practice and work at a school. Now I am implementing the knowledge I gained from the project at the school where I work and starting a school mediation program. This project is important to me because it gave me the opportunity to explore the topic of conflict in more depth. Also, after the project, there is a community that continues to talk, meet, and work together.

  • Rosa Eichelbaum

Participating in the Young Leaders for Change programme allowed me to move beyond the theory of my undergraduate studies in International Relations and engage directly with dialogue and conflict transformation in practice. What stayed with me most is the openness and commitment of young people working for change in their communities, and the sense of mutual learning, responsibility, and solidarity that emerged through honest dialogue and collective exchange. Through our workshops, I hope to contribute to spaces that strengthen agency, awareness, and constructive dialogue.

    – Rosa
  • Sven

In a time of increasing dehumanization, fragmentation, and othering, the program offered hope by inviting us to look beneath the surface of conflict and recognize our shared humanity through connection and transformational dialogue across lines of difference. Through conversations, curiosity, and vulnerability, I hope we can contribute to meaningful and lasting change toward a world where everyone belongs.

    – Sven
  • Zaide

As a former participant in the ‘Young Leaders for Change – Connecting through Dialogue’ training programme, it is important to me to promote international dialogue and discussion. New perspectives and approaches to solutions strengthen our global community in the long term and lead to greater understanding. Ultimately, we all have similar desires and needs, and that is what we should focus on.
